What San Juan can use silent disco for
Spanish and English on separate channels
The Puerto Rico Convention Center books conventions, expos, conferences and sports events. A bilingual session there can put Spanish on one 45 Max channel and English on another, with an interpreter feeding each, so attendees choose a language by choosing a channel.
Private party at Popular Plaza
DISTRITO T-Mobile, a San Juan complex of dining, art, music and entertainment, takes private event inquiries for Popular Plaza through its sales contact. A company party there can run a Pulse or Ultra 900 system, with headphone lights showing which DJ each guest chose.
SanSe week after-party
The Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián, known locally as the SanSe, usually runs Thursday to Sunday on the third weekend of January, and the 2026 edition ran January 15 to 18. A private after-party in an Old San Juan apartment that week can play on headphones, so the DJ reaches each guest directly.

Not all silent disco equipment is the same
Interpretation for a bilingual conference takes more channels than a wedding dance floor. The table compares Pulse, Ultra 900, 45 Max and the 2-Way Tour Guide, which carries 25 channels for tours of Old San Juan. We keep 12 distinct equipment styles, from standard three-channel headsets up to our 45-channel 45 Max. Every headphone glows red, green or blue so guests can see who's on which DJ or track.
| System | Channels | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Pulse | 3 | Parties, weddings, fitness |
| Ultra 900 | 3 & 10 | Multi-DJ events, mid-size corporate |
| 45 Max | 45 | Large breakouts, interpretation |
| 2-Way Tour Guide | 25 | Tours, guided sessions |
12 styles – up to 70 simultaneous frequencies – ~12 hrs battery – works up to ~1,500 ft from base – arrives sanitized & charged – under 1% distortion.

San Juan silent disco FAQ
Questions San Juan hosts ask
How much does a silent disco rental cost in San Juan?
A one-day San Juan rental runs $7.00 per standard headphone and $40 per transmitter, so 100 headphones and 3 transmitters total $820. If your organization belongs to an industry that qualifies for the 10% discount, that falls to $738. A second day adds $3.50 per headphone and each later day $2.75.
Can a silent disco work in Old San Juan during the SanSe?
During the Fiestas de la Calle San Sebastián, the plazas and streets of Old San Juan fill with artists, artisans and concerts, and the Comparsa de los Cabezudos heads to the Plaza del Quinto Centenario. A private silent disco nearby, on a rented rooftop or in a courtyard, runs on headphones with about 12 hours of battery and does not compete with stage sound.
Does Quiet Events ship to Puerto Rico?
Yes. Shipping is free on every order, including orders to San Juan, and headphones arrive sanitized and charged. The free music library is included, there is no security deposit, and on-site tech is available for larger events such as conventions and weddings.
Can student groups at the Universidad de Puerto Rico rent headphones?
Yes. School and university events are a listed use, and a student association at the Recinto de Río Piedras – Universidad de Puerto Rico can rent for a single night with no deposit. Headphones glow red, green or blue, so a three-DJ Pulse party shows at a glance who is on which channel.
