Are you a US or Canadian Company?

Quiet Events Inc. is a US company while Quiet Events Canada Corp. is a Canadian company. This ensures that no matter where you are in North America we are able to offer pricing in your local currency and abide by local laws.

Where are you guys located?

We have local staff in most major cities, but to keep expenses and rental costs the lowest possible we ship from Las Vegas NV, Austin TX, Rockaway NJ and Vancouver, Toronto Canada.

We offer shipping 10 days early, but also have overnight shipping for those last minutue orders. We have had employees drive for hundreds of miles overnight or even flown people with equipment for clients that need something urgently.

Can we pick up the equipment?

Yes, depending on what city you are in, we have local pickups at one of our many offices. We also have DJs in diffrent cities that may have equipment that can be picked up or even delivered to your place.

What discounts do you offer?

We offer discounts for non-profit, tax exempt, schools, veterans and churches.

What do we need to provide to get those discounts?

We are excited to offer a special 10% discount on rentals for our Quiet Events®! This exclusive offer is available to schools, nonprofits, churches, military personnel, public service members (including police and firefighters, upon request), and libraries. Please note that proof of eligibility is required to be uploaded during the rental process, and this discount cannot be combined with any other special promotions.

What kind of music do you provide with the mixes?

We provide clean mixes of Top 40, Hip Hop, and Throwback classics. If there are other types of music you would like to see, let us know and we may be able to provide it.

Can you download the mixes from your phone?

Yes, we will provide you with a link once your order is paid in full.

Does your frequency interfere with normal radio frequencies?

No, they run on 900Mhz & 600Mhz frequency which will not interfere. On the product page of each item you can see the specific frequency to ensure your other wireless systems do not use the same frequency.

What are your frequencies?

Refer to the transmitter product pages for the exact frequencies as we do offer over 90+ channels to chose from.

How do you connect to the transmitter?

Depending on which equipment you rent, will provide you with RCA-3.5, RCA-RCA or 3.5-3.5mm cables, to be plugged into any sound device. Most eqipment also can connect via Bluetooth.

Do you provide microphones?

Our transmitters come standard with a wired lapel microphone, allowing you to speak to your audience simultaneously with the music. We also offer a wireless system upgrade if preferred.

Where can you ship the equpiment o?

We ship worldwide (Shipping fees may apply)

Can you change the colors on the headphones?

Yes, on the party headphones you will find a switch between red, blue and green. And on the corporate 10-channel headphones, there is a button to switch between 10 different options.

Are the headphones noise canceling / soundproof?


Our over-ear headphones are designed to block out most ambient noise, effectively providing passive noise cancellation. However, they do not feature active noise-canceling (ANC) technology, which electronically cancels noise through audio frequencies.

Are the headphones waterproof?

They are water resistant. We don’t suggest jumping into a pool with them but a little rain sprinkle you will be ok!

How long do the batteries in the headphones last for?

Refer the the headphone product page for specifics, but generally the headphones arrive with a 12- hour charge. Unlike others on the market, we have installed a much later battery for all day use.

Are the headphones cleaned and charged upon arrival?

Yes, we have a very through 5-step cleaning process that our staff follows, when equipment is returned.  At our live events, we provide multi surface wipes that kill 99.9% of germs.

How many days after the event do we have to ship them back?

You will rent the headphones for a 24 -hour period. Headphones need to be shipped within 2 Business days of the event. We also offer multiple day rentals.

If our event is cancelled what is the refund policy?

Once the contract is signed we will take a 20% deposit. That deposit is non-refundable.

If we are fully paid but need to reschedule is there a fee?

We will need your new event date and will update the invoice, there is no fee. If the equipment has been shipped already, you are liable for that shipments rerouting fee.

What are the fees for lost or missing equipment?

Headphones are $50 each if they are lost or damaged.  Transmitters are $150 each if lost, $100 if they are damaged, a full list can be found on the contract.

Do you provide on-site support?

Yes! For a fee you can have a Quiet Events manager on-site to troubleshoot and help run the event.

Is there anyone available after hours if I have trouble with my event?

Yes, please call (800) 833-9281 for a 24/7 support.

What’s the difference in your headphone styles?

Quiet Events offers a wide range of styles to choose from based on the type of event or even look that you want.

Do we have to pay in full when renting?

We will take a 20% non-refundable deposit upon receiving the contract and the final payment 10 business days before we send the shipment out.  If the contract is signed within 4 weeks of the event, we take full payment.

How early do we get the equipment when shipped?

We ship them 10 days before your event. The arrival date will be dependent on your location and weather.
